Surf Coast ARTS inc has held many events since it was established in 1995, as well as helping to coordinate activities and provide volunteers. Some of these events include the Wear Artrageous Fashion Parade, Artspot annual exhibition, Surf Coast Film Society, Connecting to Country Festival and of course our iconic Torquay Cowrie Market is still going strong. We'll add the history of our past activities soon.

Our ability to hold our own events relies on what available resources (funds and people power) we have.

While we focus on our premier activity Torquay Cowrie Market, we continue to celebrate the success of the inaugural Surf Coast ARTS inc POSTCARDS 2022-2023 members exhibition over Xmas and the new year at Anglesea Art Space (postcards of the winners works will be available soon!).

We are also supporting a Professional Development series with Mollie Vaughan Studio at The Light Box in Torquay (Early Bird tickets for Workshop One close 23 Feb) and holding a couple of live music events - Chillin' with Tunes Under the Yellow Gums at Bob Pettit Reserve in Jan Juc, and 60s Music Revival Gig at Torquay Bowls Club.

If you would like to receive email updates, become a member for only $10 a year!

HOW CAN I FIND OTHER EVENTS IN OUR REGION?

There are many websites and social media pages you can follow - but unfortunately they are not all in one place!

We don't want to double up on what's already out there, so we've included links below to help you to keep up to date > sign up to their email news (highly recommended), follow on Facebook or Instagram. You can also use many of these options to add your own event/activity - see our PROMOTION page for more info.
