Torquay Cowrie Market 2025/26 SEASON APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025/26 SEASON ARE NOW CLOSED. We have hundreds of applications each season and cannot accept anymore this season. Please note: We only accept new artists and makers living in the G21 region (Surf Coast, Greater Geelong, Queenscliff, Golden Plains, Colac Otway Shire). Due to the overwhelming number of applications, we prioritise artists who personally create unique offerings that are not already represented, and live on the Surf Coast. Stallholder pricing: General - single/double site: $50 - $100* - add one car: $15 Food (excludes pre-made baking, condiments etc) - single/double site: $65- $130* - add power: $35 Local community groups - complimentary Bookings and payment must be made ten days prior to the market. Running for over 27 years, the Torquay Cowrie Market has grown immensely during this time, proudly supporting many local artists and small businesses over the years. It has now become one of the biggest art and craft markets in the area. Held on the third Sunday of the month, from September through to April each year, visitors enjoy the friendly, relaxed, coastal vibe. Torquay Cowrie Market specialises in quality local art, craft, jewellery, fashion, vintage goods, plants, gifts and produce. All items for sale are environmentally friendly, handmade, homegrown or designed by the stallholder. There's also an extensive range of exceptionally yummy food and two stages featuring local music and entertainment. You might even encounter a special pop up activity or performance! This season's dates are: Sunday 21 September 2025 Sunday 19 October 2025 Sunday 16 November 2025 Sunday 21 December 2025 Sunday 18 January 2026 Sunday 15 February 2026 Sunday 15 March 2026 Sunday 19 April 2026 Torquay Cowrie Market aims to be a single-use plastic free event. Please bring your own reusable cups, bottles and bags.
